Hi All,
2 employers had applied H1B for me with 'change of status' from L1B.
One of them got approved, and I have already moved to that company from October 2008.
Now the other employer is informing me (its december !!!) that the petition has got a RFE, asking proof of valid L1B at the time of applying..
Here is my question:
- Should I tell that guy to withdraw my application ?
- If the RFE is answered , is there any threat to the H1B petition I am currently using for employment.
(I dont want to cause any harm to my current petition under which I am employed).
Please let me know. Thanks.

Guys, Assuming that everyone from July Filers group went through FP for AOS once at that time, do they need to go again to get the AOS approved now? My question is ppl who r being approved these days and if they r july filers, did they go for 2nd FP? Can uscis use FP of EAD in 485 ?

I have a last pay check through an Employer A of August 1, 2008. Earlier before leaving Employer A I filed a H1 transfer to a new employer B and that got approved by USCIS but I didn't start working with Employer B. Now I am getting a new offer from Employer C which is better than Employer B. Attorney of Employer C says that he can file for a transfer through company A as the pay check is less than two weeks.
Now my problem is I not sure whether my transfer from A to C would be successfull or not?
Another thing I have not informed Employer B that I will not be joining him, Do I have to pay him all the H1 transfer fees?

This is not really a surprise and it's not because American doctors are in any way inadequate. However, while virtually all US medical school graduates will eventually go on to practice medicine, residency and fellowship slots that go to J-1 and H-1B doctors are filled by doctors who generally finish near the top of their medical school classes. Guys. Is this 7% country limit a hard or soft one ?. Assuming 1,40,000 total immigrant visas, India would get 7% of it and that is 9800. Then you have the preference category. Assuming there are unused immigrant visas from other countries, how do they get allocated ?. Does anyone has clear idea ?.

I have renewed my AP third time now; All three time AP went to lawyer; This time it was a record 15 days for AP approval. USCIS is getting it done superfast looks like.

Just want to know my options here and here is my scenario:
I am on H1-B and my 6 years of H1B is going to complete on March so I have almost 1 more year to complete my 6 years of h1-B
Right now, I have my LC and I-140 approved from my present employer.
Now, I am thinking about moving onto a new job where the new employer is ready to start my GC immediately I take the new job.
My question is:
If I take the new job, would I get my new H-1B for 3 years since my I-140 with old employer/current employer is already approved ?
I don't have the copy of my I-140 but I think I can get it.
