You are exactly getting down to the problem, we need to ask the government we are paying high fees but where's the service ???
That's exactly the point..USCIS is HEADED by fools...the problem lies within...the heads dont really care if their staff is underpaid and over-worked..but the fact of it is that they just don't have the money nor manpower to get the work done. When USCIS adjudicated all those cases in 2002, it was not of their own volition but because Congress mandated it..6 years later they dont care for the immigrants..u think they'd (policy makers) care 2 hoots for the the USCIS officers...just take a look at the Infopass centers...from my experience I havent seen more than 2 officers helping customers at a time..no money..no manpower

I dont want another flurry of emails by explaining no-nonsense "conspiracy theory" behind all this (Hint - The day CIR failed , AILF came up with this 95%-98% truth in their websites and the day 2nd CIR resurrection attempt was being discussed is June 13th which is the July Bulletin release Date)
Our only option is to expose USCIS wrongdoings ( I mean all Kind of Wrongdoings ) via Media and at the end of the day show your GUTS to support AILA lawsuit by providing our real names etc... ( incase they need)

Last year therer was the July VB fiasco..Thisyear its this...no surprises at all...they dont want to follow process...coz OMG that will need effort...just approve those whose files u can lay hands on.....with utter disregard for PDs....

What if out of all 10000 , 9999 don't have priority date current.Do you think they will still not look at the 1 in the pile which has a current PD.They will look at it , Even if it is number 10000 in the list.Actually there will be no pile because 9999 people won't even be in contention.
Why do you think labour substitution was so HOT?Just because by getting an earlier PD , you were going to steam roll everybody who filed before you , just because you got an earlier PD..
In your case you will get the percedence over the 2001 PD. His is PD is not curent at time of processing. If the cut off date is after 2002 which means both are cuurent then the later guy will take precedence since his RD is earlier than your's.

Since your PD is June 2003, you could have applied in June 2007 because in June Visa bulletin(released in May ) it moved till April 2004.
This is too good to be true.. How could you apply in June if you are Eb3 with PD Sept 2003? The PD was'nt current in June. Also, how did your 140 get approved in less than a month? Premium Processing was'nt there in July...
I have a PD of Sep 2003. I filed my labor in Nebraska in Sep 2003 and state labor got cleared in a week and federal took 2 weeks. I had my Labour on Oct 2nd. I filed for my 140 and recd approval in 3 months. I had to wait for my 485 filing as I wanted to file it with my spouse who was out of country at that time. Rest of the details are in my signature.
BTW, those who are stuck in BEC's my sympathies are with you, its just pure bad luck your cases got stuck in there. PERM or no PERM this whole GC thing is just matter of timing.
As for the original post I dont understand the reason for the ah's and ooh's here. The original poster please correct the mistake here, gcpadmavyuh is right, you could not have applied for 485 in June if you had PD of sep 2003. You could have applied for your 485 as early as March 2005 when the PD dates retrogressed.

I have asked a few of my friends to call the list too. And I did another round of calling Tier 1 republicans only. It was pretty much the same response as the last time. I think that is their standard way of answering, - to sit on the fence.
Unless these issues are being discussed and called to vote, they will pander to whoever is talking. But, I think we still need to put continued pressure on them, hence the friends :)

It is true that a lot of the members signed up just so that they can follow the happenings, and maybe post an immediate question that they might have. We may have a huge membership base, but without any action from such a base can make any plan from the core a failure. What we need to do is to energize the baselevel members. The senate is comprised of senators from our respective states, and the house has reps from each state. We have individual state chapeters for IV. I think the Core will need to plan out a strategy to help the state chapters approach their senators and house reps, while the core concentrates on contacting the DoJ committees. Meeting a few senators here and there will not help. We need to contact ALL the senators and apprise them of the situations. Rather than have a different message sent to each senator, the core will need to define an agenda, and the communication needed. The state chapters will need to take that and follow up with their respective senators and reps, without diluting any of the messages. Having the core meet all the senators is not proper, we need to pitch in too. Unless we work as a team, nothing that the core has planned will work.
I was/am a member in immigration.com where all the talk of starting this forum happened. I have interacted with the core on many occassions before, and I was also one of the first to join this community. But work and family pressures prompted me to stay away, and in the meantime, my handle and password were forgotten. I had to resign up, and what I find today is that there is no understanding between the members. Be thankful that this forum was set up, and contribute positively in any way you can. Without your support, the core cant do it all. Lets stop worring about donations and membership fees. We are all intelligent, and highly paid. We have the brains to talk to senators and house reps. Lets move forward to get at least piecemeal legislations passed. Lets not wait for CIR. CIR is not going to happen, so dont believe in it.
