Hi
it seems most/all of multimedia jobs are project-based/short term/freelanced, is there any multimedia permanent job which you can sit in a fix studio to work on, maybe 5 days a week, just like some administration/office fulltime position (e.g. clark/marketing person).
Work in some multimedia comp/film company maybe one of the solution, anyone could give me more ideas/suggestions & I dont know which multimedia/film is the big one / famous...:puzzle:

Hello,
I have attended Toronto consulate on Apr 18th for my 7th yr h1b stamping. I have i140 approval. The consul gave me 221g yellow form and later received 2 emails asking for some documents which I submitted. I still have not heard any response and I understand it could take months before I get any answer. My question is can I leave Canada and go to India while the process is in review and come back to Canada if and when my H1b stamping is approved. I have multiple entry visa to Canada so I could potentially come back. My question is can I leave Canada while my visa is under process and would it have any affect?

My Situation:
I am on H1B visa and working now with employer �A� (from Jun 10 to Till Date)
I was working with employer �B� (from Jun 09 to Jun 10)
I was previously also working with employer �A� (which is now my present employer) from Jul 08 to Mar 09,
My H1 Transfer from employer �B� to �A� has been filed in last Jun 10 but it is in Process now.
Now my present project is over, I have got a project with employer �C�
My Questions:
1. Can I join the employer �C� by filing another H1 transfer? as of now still my H1 Transfer (employer �B� to employer �A�) is in process.
2. I have also got another project with my ex employer �B�, I can see the I797 petition of the employer �B� is still showing a status of approved in the USCIS state, it has not been reoked. Can I rejoin the ex employer �B� without filing any new H1 Transfer ( from employer �A� to employer �B�).
Will appreciate your answer,

My I-485 is pending with PD of Oct 11 2006(EB2 India). I have been on H1 as was not able to add my spouse to my initial 485 application. As my H1 expires on Sep 6, we recently filed for H1/4 extension and received an RFE for Employee-Employer relationship. We have to answer this by Sep 13. As a Plan B, What we did in June 2010 was
a) I filed for my EAD
b) My spouse got admitted into a school here and applied for COS from H4 to F1 with a valid I-20.
Both of these cases are currently pending.. My questions are:
1) As our H1/4 and I-94 expires on Sep 6, Would we still be in legal status after Sep 6 as both of our cases (EAD and COS) are pending?
2) After answering the RFE, if it is denied, would it impact my GC processing?
3) I understand that even if my H1 is denied, As I have a pending EAD, my status would be okay but what options would we have if my Wife's case is denied.

Hi All,
I just called USCIS using the POJ method to check on my I485 status which is current for June (EB2 India PD is 3/20/04).
IO said a visa needs to be ordered for the file and it will be done in the next quarter i.e, July 08.She also said the file will not be assigned to the IO unless the visa is ordered??
Does this mean that all the visas for EB2 have been used for this quarter? Also, not sure why the file wont be worked on until the visa is ordered...which contradicts the pre-adjudication theory.

Can you use your spouse's cross-chargeability after you have filed for your I-140 already?
How time consuming is this for the USCIS to acknowledge?
Does spouse also need to have a GC application filed at that time or if your spouse is from a non-retrogressed country but not working then you can use her also?

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. Keep an eye on the military appropriations bill Congress is working on for a potential immigration piece. The AP reports that Republicans want some serious money and personnel commitments for the southern border. And my own sources are telling me that some Democrats are looking at trying to get the DREAM Act in that same piece of legislation. Remember, DREAM allows for some who join the military to pursue permanent residency so it would be a germane part of the bill. A down payment on comprehensive immigration reform? Or the end of that effort and the return to piecemeal legislating?...

I applied for Substitute Labor/140/485/EAD concurrently on July 2nd. Assuming, USCIS will accept my 485, I have a few questions:
1. If I get a RFE/NOID/denial on labor/140, will I be eligible for invoking AC21?
2. Is the EAD processed after 140 approval or is it possible I would get EAD before labor/140 approval?
Can someone explain how things work when one applies for Sub labor/140/485 concurrently?

Your help on the matter is appreciated. I am EB3-I. I filed for I-485 in July-07. I have been working on H1. Now I am going to switch to EAD by AC21. My new job has same job title and job duties. They have another condition for job. I will have to have a Masters in 8 years of starting my job.Their basic requirement is still Bachelors but Masters condition is kind of extra condition. My question is does this give me any trouble for my GC process because of Masters condition.Another question is will I be able to switch to EB2 based on this.
