Hi All,
My employer filed for my H-1B in premium processing, but it got denied because lawyer submitted wrong EIN number.
My questions are:
Will they re-consider my case if lawyer submits the correct EIN number?
How much time will it take to process, if the willing to re-consider the case?

Lots of activity to report. Congressional Hispanic Caucus leaders met this week with President Obama who said he wants a vote during the Lame Duck and would work the phones to round up votes. Harry Reid tweeted today that he'll offer the DREAM Act as a standalone bill which will hopefully help bring along a few of the "procedural" no voters from last September who indicated they like the DREAM Act but didn't believe in tacking it on to a budget bill. My wife came to USA on H4 visa in January 2004. Later when she got a job, she changed that to H1B in September 2004. Since we do not yet have the EAD or green card, her company is now filing the Perm labor certifcation, to make sure that she gets the 7th year extension of H1B. The rule is that you should file the labor before the 6th year starts.
My question is when does her 5th year ends. Was it on January 2009 based on her arrival in USA or is it on Sepetember 2009 sincw her H1B visa started only on Septemeber 2004?

Hi,
I wish to scroll horizontally using two custom buttons (a left & a right one) in a FlowLayoutPanel, while disabling the autoscroll properties, as I do not wish to have the scrollbar. The controls that will be added into the FlowLayoutPanel will be subjected to changes, as it depends the number of data in the database.
So is there any tutorial/website that anyone can recommend for this related problem?
And also, I do know what to put for my horizontalscroll.maximum and minimum value as my flow direction is RighttoLeft.

If you can't show you have had 3 years of experience at the time the labor was filed...you will most likely have hard times getting I140 approved.....the service centers are very thorough regarding work experience.

bigboy007: As long as you have filled the form given by ASC officer and she has endorsed your FP notice, You are fine. ASC officer was right, single finger print will cover both of your applications. Just relax, I see no issues.

Hi,
I wanted to now how you guys are going about AP and I94 renewals.
If we use AP to come to US, then our I-94 is valid only for 1 year i.e till AP expires.. So, if we apply for AP renewal, what will happen to I-94? Do we need to renew it? If yes, what is the procedure?
And, If we have a valid H4 visa for 2 more years but started working on EAD, when we enter into US, do we need to use AP for sure or can use H4 as it is still valid? If we use H4, will our EAD become invalid?
Please let me know.

The President has started revealing his plans on immigration for the next year. It sounds like he's planning on trying a do-over with Congress and attempting again to get a comprehensive immigration bill passed. He'll make the case for this in his State of the Union Address. I'm happy the President is still interested in working for change, I sincerely hope he is not making passing a reform bill his SOLE strategy. I would suggest keep Visitor Visa appointment on separate date as your parent will not have option saying they want to meet kids and spend more time with you.

I am currently attending a college here in China. However, I have been offered some interesting jobs . These jobs require that I have a resident visa. I have been told that I can't change from a student visa to a resident visa, while in mainland China. Is this accurate? If so, is Hong Kong an option for me?

1.What forms/applications do we have to apply?
2.What is the first step should we have to take?
