The Mexico F2A and Employment Third preference cut-off dates" are �unavailable� for both August and September..blah blah..
MAY BE it talks specifically about "Mexico EB3". otherwise it would have been: "Mexico F2A and all EB3"...

I understand but i already sent our media drive to 50 different media , i aleady sent multiple faxes , i already sent many many emails but please advise me what more should i do to convince IV core that issues i have mentioned also effect many who are already IV members , i am requesting you to see Text of Webfax is added acoordingly ?

Thanks a bunch for all of you who contributed today, I read each and every post and felt very content that atleast there are people who feel the same way like I feel. IV is the only org that stands for us. It is time to strengthen it, Most of you have no idea how much money is really needed for lobbying, and how far it can take us if each of us contributed a little every month.
Minimum $50/month.

Pls lets all keep in touch. My lawyer sent mine around the same time as well. Did anyone have to file with a visascreen? One law firm said that the EAD would be denied becasue of no visascreen!!
I changed them for another law firm. Any other lawyers saying the same regarding visascreen?

The USCIS automated line for Priority dates is still playing the PD's for June 2007 showing that EB-3 India cut off June 1st 2003 etc..
We have so contrasting images of the efficiency of USCIS. Hope they keep the same tempo as of the last week of June on Oct 1st when the FY 2008 quota kicks in.
The automated line is actually a human trying to speak like a machine :D
If you call the number one has to press so many buttons, hear so many messages and finally when you reach an actual person, it is difficult to get any details on your case.

Hi
I just applied for a mortgage from BOA. The loan officer did not recognize what AOS was and asked me for an H1B - which has expired.
I explained about AOS and EAD and told her I could give the I-485 receipt, and she took in my application.
But I'm worried that my loan will be denied after underwriting - my closing is on 5/26 and I probably will not hear from the bank until second week of may.
Does anyone know of Banks in MA that give loans to EAD?

My point - I am going to take things in a stride, basically wait till I can - doesn't hurt me as long as I go about my daily routine.
All who are thinking of jumping the fence and giving up, one piece of advice - if you do not have kids and plan to have any in this life, please do it NOW - have them be born here (all of them) and then move on with whatever / wherever you want to go.
At least this is a gift you will be giving your kids for their lifetime and all the generations following them (remember - a US citizen's kid can be a US citizen no matter where he/she is born) - so you will be arranging US citizenship for all your great^n * grand * kids (0 <= n <= infinity) !
This is how I think about it when I do not think about MYSELF. Once the kids are born, you can flaunt their American Passports and feel happy in their well-being and security (for whatever it is worth) and move on to Canada / India / Singapore / wherever! Live happily.
And do not forget your kids can sponsor you when they are 21.

I just spoke with an Immigration Representative of my Senator. She knows me as I met her last year with my employer for my other issue.
She just informed me that we are (Not only we but whole Congress) shocked with un-precedent action of DOS/USCIS for July VB. Senator's Washington DC office is working on this issue including immediate legislative relief to Employment Based immigration. She is well aware of whole drama of July VB. I am going to call Washington DC Office as well.
I encourage every one call to their Senator and HR and speak with Immigration Representative. I think first time media and lawmakers have acknowledged the problem of Employment Based Immigration.

I don't think so. Eventhough they make U in september bulletin. They have to move dates in October bulletin because of new visa numbers.
I can understand the excitement. I am also in EB2 2005 PD. But the fact is that, this seems like a temporary movement only...i don't think dates can stay at 2006, going by simple math.
PPl can give me those red marks, but i think dates will retrogress again by Oct.

i had put up the previous two posts on this page asking about relief for Schedule A professionals in 2008......time has passed by but nothing has changed.....no sight of any relief or any schedule A bill........missed the july 2007 fiasco due to employer insisting on 40 day cool off period........have been in US for 6 years......no sign of EB3 india being even close to Oct 2007 (my PD)........employer has refused to file EB2 point blank.......no other employer ready for EB2........spouse on h4 visa since oct. 2006......have lost all hope and just going through the motions......is there light at the end of tunnel???

Volunteer is a person who takes responsibility and does a task. Here the question was raised to have new leaders who can take a flight to Washington DC on Monday morning, change the law by noon to issue GC to every EB category, have a lunch at Olive Garden, come back monday evening.
Most leaders are actually volunteers in IV. They have a regular full time job.

of money. IV budget is nowhere close to that the Hispanic lobby group:

IV is a tiny organization in front of La Raza. Thats....a BILLION with which they hire full time lobbyist.
I strongly suggest you listen to the audio interview to understand how big the hispanic
lobby is and get some reality check of how things work in US politics.
